Romania May 29th

Today we woke up to the sound of an angry horse neighing at us.  J. got some good movie footage.  He just could not get enough of that horse. We were a bit on the crazy side this morning because of the lack of sleep.  We got up early (4:30am) because we were camping on the side of a country road.  It was freezing, but beautiful.  We camped here because it was rainy and dark and the road had 2 ft deep pot holes that were getting hard to avoid.

We stopped at a gas station (luk oil) in trasilvania, Romania.  The manager of the station was a young guy named Marius.  His sister lives in the states and he has been to visit. He spoke English well and told us about a senic road to the Ukraine border.  It was by far the best Road in Romainia.  There were monastaries, mountainous switchbacks and no pot holes.  Thats a good road in my book.
